BRAND REFRESH + WEBSITE REDESIGN
FastSpring is a full-service commerce solution used by software providers around the world. I was asked to refresh FastSpring's visual brand identity which included revamping the illustrations, color palette, typographic style, and much more. Once I had a new refresh in place, I was tasked to redesign the website to reflect the new refresh.
To give more contrast to the overall design on a page or ad, I changed the FastSpring text color to a darker color, which I gave it a naming convention as FS Black, a color we use for all of our copy.
The previous primary color palette had over 6+ colors. To keep things simplified and still modern, I reduced the color palette to 3 colors: FS Blue, FS Orange, and FS Black. FS Black was included in the primary palette because it plays a big emphasis on making any illustrations or the web page pop more.
The illustrations were also updated using the new color palette. Here, I designed a more outlined look by using FS Black and incorporate two of our primary colors, FS Blue and FS Orange, to create emphasis.
In addition to creating a new brand identity for FastSpring, I was asked to redesign the company's website. The website redesign combines the brand's new typographic style, color palette, and illustrations in a clean, modern design.
